How to measure your body correctly?

Measure your bust, underbust, waist and hips to find the right size swimsuit.

To take your measurements, you will need a tape measure and a mirror. Make sure you stand up straight and do not suck in your stomach when measuring – only then will the results be accurate.

  1. Bust circumference

Measure the circumference of the bust at its widest point:

  • Stand up straight with your shoulders relaxed.
  • Wrap the tape measure around your chest, ensuring it is parallel to the floor.
  • The measuring tape should fit snugly against the body, but should not be too tight.

  1. Circumference under bust

Measure the circumference under the bust just below the bust line, at rib height.

  • Place the tape measure directly under your breasts.
  • Ensure that the measuring tape is snug against your body and positioned evenly.

  1. The difference between the bust measurement and the underbust measurement

To find the right size, measure your underbust and bust, then calculate the difference and compare it with our suggested measurements below.

  • XS difference between bust and underbust measurements: 7-10 cm
  • S difference between bust and underbust measurements: 10-13 cm
  • M difference between bust and underbust measurements: 13–16 cm
  • L difference between bust and underbust measurements: 16–19 cm
  • XL difference between bust and underbust measurements: 19-22 cm
  • XXL difference between bust and underbust measurements: 22–25 cm

  1. Waist circumference

Measure your waist circumference at the narrowest point:

  • Find the natural indentation in your torso (between your lower ribs and hips) – this is your waist circumference.
  • The measuring tape should be parallel to the ground and lie lightly against the skin.

  1. Hip circumference

This measurement, i.e. hip circumference, is particularly important when choosing the bottom part of a swimsuit:

  • Stand upright with your legs together.
  • Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your hips and buttocks, where the top of your pelvic bones are located. The most common mistake is measuring too high, just below the waist, which later makes the swimsuit uncomfortable.

  1. Growth

      To measure height:

  • Stand barefoot against the wall, straighten your back and look straight ahead.
  • Use a ruler or book to mark the highest point of your head, then measure the distance from the floor.

Accurate height measurements will help you choose the right size swimsuit.
